Qualifications
I am a loving kind caring individual who thrives to achieve the best in life. I have worked in Health and Social Care from 2010 and have developed my career organically. I started my journey with supporting the elderly which I most dearly enjoyed, I then continued my journey working with adults with mild/complex learning disabilities.
I absolutely love my job, recognizing that the residents I care for are individuals and that providing choice and respecting both their dignity and decisions is central to their continued well-being and independence.
My goal is to help people lead fulfilled, independent lives in the homes and for Support Staff to strive to enhance the well-being of our service users through available opportunities and options. I have a passion for Independence and respect for choice.
I have over twenty years of experience in managerial positions overseeing services for neurodiverse individuals. I am devoted to providing a person-centred approach that enables individuals to thrive and lead fulfilled lives.
I have worked in the care industry for over 15 years. The majority of my experience has been working with individuals with challenging behaviour, supporting both children and adults in residential care. I have also worked in clinical settings supporting children with their mental health.
I have been with Longmoor Care since the day that we opened, starting as a Support Worker, then Team Leader and now as Deputy Manager working between our 2 current residential homes.
I am in the latter stages of completing my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
